Codifying all the available methods to achieve your creative dreams

When was the last time you heard the expression, we used every trick in the book?

Odds are, what the person meant was that they employed every possible method they could think of to achieve something they wanted. Even the ways that were clever, cunning and obscure.

That person did whatever it took.

Now, because this phrase is an idiom, this book people speak of doesn’t actually exist. There is no book. It’s just something you say when you refer to a certain body of knowledge.

But my question has always been, what if there was an actual book? What if we codified all of the available methods to achieve something and made it accessible to anyone who wanted it?

That was my thinking in creating this platform. Prolific, the world’s very first personal creativity management system, clocks in at a million words in total. Making it one hell of a book, so to speak. It contains over thousands of tools for every step of the creative process, including ideation, organization and execution.

Whatever problem you’re trying to solve with your artistic work, I literally wrote down every trick in the book. Every mindset, approach, behavior, asset, I’ve thought of everything.

Here are a few examples.

Have you ever felt afraid of having to start from zero on a new project?

Been there before many times myself. It sucks. Fills your mind with dread. You might try a tool called scratching, which is identifying what you already possess in service of your creative vision so you don’t have to start from zero. Doing so will help you eliminate information overload the moment it strikes and build momentum immediately with overwhelming work.

Or perhaps your creative challenge is not knowing where you should be spending your valuable time during a given week.

Sure, who hasn’t struggled with that? My experience has taught me to use a tool called a catchall in this scenario. It’s finding the single high leverage creative activity that facilitates all the others. Figure that out, and you’ll be able to structure your schedule in the most profitable manner, save time and multiply labor so your work is sustainable over the long term.

Okay, one last trick in the book.

Maybe you keep making the same art over and over, and you’re feeling the need to branch out.

Good thinking. You might consider the personal creativity management tool called spiraling, aka, growing your creative life in an open ended, upward curve of new possibilities. You’ll learn how to reframe failures into learning opportunities that set you up for the next thing and maintain momentum over the long haul of your career.

Have you tried every trick in the book?

If not, don’t worry. Because I’ve written it all down for you. Prolific codifies all the available methods to achieve your creative dreams. I developed the discipline of personal creativity management to give you a toolkit with such depth and breadth, that you’ll never feel hopeless again.

Now you can give your artistic engine every advantage in this competitive marketplace.

You can literally learn and use every trick in the book.

How open are you to using even the most clever, cunning and obscure tools for achieving your creative goals?
